Quick Start
If you are new to shortcodes, here’s what you need to know.
- Shortcodes look like <HTML>, but with [square brackets]
- Some are [self-closing /]
- Others are [balanced] with content inside [/balanced]
- Some include “attributes” – [command option=”Some Value” /]
- WP Page Editors can enter them directly into Pages and Posts, or use the specialized Shortcode Block
- WP Page visitors see the replacement – the result of shortcode
Using the IMG Processor
The key to using IMG Processor Shortcodes is understanding the Shared Parameters. Pay particular attention to the output attribute, and the options for specifying the (required) source image file. If you get just one shortcode working – eg, [img_fit/] – the other will fall into place.
